Aristotle Always Seems To Be There Before You

Lots to read at Hooking Up Smart today. I love her summing up point…

“The population is effectively divided into two groups:

A promiscuous minority of both men and women.

A majority of both men and women having sex with a small number of people during their lifetimes.

Whether you consider this good or bad news depends on your sex and your appeal to its opposite.”

Maybe I’m just starting to feel my age, but I seem to remember that the party crowd just made more noise than everybody else. They weren’t actually out numbering the rest of us, not by a long shot. Just because Spring Break is on TV doesn’t mean everyone actually goes to Cancun.

Some days the Manosphere seems like a very strange landscape. Is it all just about wanting to finally be one of the Beautiful People? That somehow there’s a golden ticket back to Spring Break in 1991 and we’re finally on MTV?

I mean we talk about this…

And expound on aggressive hypergamy like this…

Why name tags for conference hookups should not be permanent like this…

And drool over and sing praises to this…

Advise against approach anxiety like this…

To become a complete master of game like this…

You’ll need some smooth opening lines like this…

Develop the the perfect move like this…

Bachelor number three WTF is this…

Jennifer worries about this…

Game works on everyone. Well nearly everyone, careful of this…

Some people even discuss the cost benefit ratio of occasional this…

Because lets face it, we all have a big ol’ dose of this…

And we all want the perfect woman, who is a little of this…

A little of this…

A little of this…

Supports our hobbies like this…

Is willing to pitch in and help like this…

And of course culinary skill like this…

Does not PMS like this…

Is somewhat less popular than this…

I lost my train of thought when I saw this…

Not so much of this…

In the dark, can find this…

This is all a lot of work for one woman actually. Maybe she’d need to be cloned like this…

I think this is Jennifer’s theme song…

As I get older, I start to think more and more that Aristotle is right. And even if he’s wrong, we’ve got kids now anyway. That changes everything.

Maybe we just need a fucking date night. I forget when we did that last. I guess I have to Google it….

    Awesome post!

Something's going on with this data. I'm not doubting that most people are pretty tame in the sleeping around department. But how could men have so many more mean sex partners than women? 20 v. 6??? Discrepancy in median could be explained by a few hardcore sluts, but those would raise the female's mean just as fast as the men's.

Vastly different means can only be explained by the classic male boasting and female ASD.

I can't believe Suzan doesn't know that you never trust what people claim about sex.

Instead, you look at stuff that can't lie, like herpes rates. This NY study (first link with numbers I found: http://www.condomman.com/articles/condom-use/new-york-city-and-herpes/) found that 1/4 NYCers have herpes, or 25%. That's up from the national average of 20%.

But when you break down the numbers… I saw a post on a now-dead board where a guy looked at the study and broke it down via race/gender lines.

    White Male? 15%
    White Female? 40-ish%
    Black Male? 30-ish%
    Black Female? 80%

From those numbers alone, it's easy to summise that a minority of men sleep with the majority of women. Yes.. Yes… I know that men have a harder time catching herpes from women than women from men, but these women can't catch herpes from men who don't have it.

The rate among black women tho.. that's scary.

Interesting on the proportions of black women having herpes in relation to black men is the same as white women and white men.

I feel really sorry for black women generally in relationships, have done for a long time. They have a hard time with men and it's not to do with being feminazis or sluts as the things I'm thinking about have been going on for quite some time. I fear some of the PUAs are trying to emulate some of the worst behaviours of the worst types of black men and given the societal problems we've had here, it would only become more widespread.

Stop feeling sorry for them. Rampant single-motherhood has been going on for a few generations in black culture now. The single mothers are raising the boys which end up being problems for the younger generation of women… in other words: black women are creating their daughter's own problems.

Black women shun marriage to get the government handouts (often unavailable to married black women with children) and they are destroying themselves as a result. Not only does it prove the significant value of marriage to a culture (i.e. marriage is the fundamental basis of civilization) it also, tragically, serves as a demonstration as to where the rest of our culture is going as the government, influenced by chasing the female vote, continues to change the laws around marriage/divorce to be even more male-unfriendly which causes more and more men to avoid the institution…. of course, less men marrying and more single mothers only reinforce the feedback loop of government trouncing on men to buy up women's votes.

Black culture is serving as the canary in the coal mine.
